Amulet of Akatoshby *CanisPanthera

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Props & Accessories

Pendant made from carved paperclay, then painted to look like wood. Plain wooden beads and necklace string/attachments from Jo-Ann's. Used some chainmail links that I spray painted gold where the pendant hangs. Decided to forgo all the small details of the carvings in the beads. I've been working on this costume for too long as it is lol.

I have to say that this one really looks like the real life adaption from the game. Even though the texture/mesh is a bit weak in the vanilla sense, I did notice that it could be made with wooden beads. I'm not sure that the beads had intricate carvings, if you look here: [link] If anything, maybe every few beads there would be one with a spiral carving, perhaps on the squarish beads you have. I don't think it desperately needs it.

Yeah there's definitely some spiral patterning going on and perhaps some ridged beads between those, but for all intents and purposes for my storm cloak costume, the pendant is really the part that shows. Glad you like my rendition
